We typically advance all the costs of a case at our own risk. Almost all of our cases are handled on a contingency fee agreement, which is a percentage of the settlement or recovery. If our client does not make a recovery, we are not paid.

How long will it take to handle my case?

There is no "usual" amount of time that is takes to handle a case. However, Bandas Law Firm, P.C. is committed to taking a small number of serious claims so we can focus our resources and move the case as quickly as possible. Generally, cases are resolved within one to two years of filing suit.

Will my case go to trial?

Some studies indicate that over 95% percent of all cases settle before trial. Nevertheless, we prepare every case as if it will go to trial. Our experience has shown that the best settlements and verdicts are a direct result of being completely and thoroughly prepared for trial.

Will you work with my family attorney?

Yes. We will include your family attorney in whatever manner you prefer.

Do you handle cases outside of Texas?

Yes. We routinely represent clients from all over the United States and foreign nationals having claims in the United States.

Who decides if a case should settle or go to trial?

Our client decides. The facts of each case vary, but trial can be very risky. A verdict may potentially be higher than a settlement, but an adverse jury finding could result in no compensation at all. Obviously, we will advise you in the decision making process, but the choice is yours.

What kind of recovery can I expect in my case?

While Bandas Law Firm, P.C. is proud of its accomplishments and recoveries, past results do not predict future results. The facts of each case vary greatly and every case must be evaluated on its individual merits.
