It was raining at the time of the deadly wreck, which took place in August 2012, and the delivery driver reportedly hydroplaned into oncoming traffic, slamming into Ruth and Devavaram Christopher’s vehicle. Ruth died at a hospital hours after the wreck, and her husband now suffers from brain damage as a result of the collision.
